Valley of Flowers Deomali Hosts Historic Kite Fest During Parab Celebration

Koraput, Nov 25: The Valley of Flowers Deomali took center stage at the recent Parab festival, offering a unique blend of nature and culture that captivated visitors.

Alongside stunning floral displays and immersive camping experiences, the festival hosted Odisha’s first-ever professional kite flying event, held at Deomali, the highest point in the state. Kites as large as 50 meters soared above the valley, creating a vibrant spectacle that delighted attendees and showcased the region’s potential for innovative tourism.

The event drew visitors from across the region, eager to partake in the festivities and enjoy the scenic landscapes of Deomali.
