Tara Sutaria Slams News Article For Labelling Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman As ‘Old Lady’

Mumbai, Jan 10: Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria, who debuted in Punit Malhotra’s Student Of The Year 2, recently criticized a news article for referring to Hollywood stars Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman, Viola Davis, and Fernanda Torres as “old ladies” in a piece titled Lady Energy Flexed Its Well-Toned Muscles At The Golden Globe.

Taking to her Instagram story, Tara expressed her disappointment and wrote, “”Old lady ” ???? Seriously? (Beautiful, successful) women in their 50’s & 60’s are NOT old.. MORE importantly, aging is SUCH a fantastic experience we are all lucky to have – why does the media always talk negatively about it particularly when they address women in entertainment and otherwise?”

“We must STOP attaching shame to a powerful and glorious, natural experience because young women everywhere will continue to associate fear and self loathing with growing older! And that is just not okay anymore.. LETS BE BETTER FOLKS, ITS 2025!!!,” she added.
