Srimandir Rartna Bhandar to be open during 2024 Rath Yatra

Ratna Bhandar of Lord Jagannath’s Puri Srimandir will be opened during the Rath Yatra in next year.

This was informed by Puri district collector today.

According to the Collector, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) will inspect the inner chamber of the Ratna Bhandar during 2024 Rath Yatra. A proposal regarding the opening of the Ratna Bhandar has been given to the state government, informed the Collerctor.

He further informed that a team of temple management committee, members of ASI will inspect the Ratna Bhandar.

The State government will also be urged to form a high-level committee to examine the Ratna Bhandar.

Retired Supreme Court and High Court judges will monitor the inspection, informed the Collector.
