With vastly evolving educational Infra in Odisha, ‘’Mo College Abhijan’’ stepped up to one more, by signing an MoU with ‘Sri Sri University’ to set up E-Cells (Entrepreneurship Cells) across colleges of state to reinforce the campus startup eco-system as well as to support Agriculture and Allied start-ups.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the renowned spiritual leader and the lifetime president of Sri Sri University graced the hour with his presence during the signing of MoU. ‘Mo College’ Chairperson, Akash Dasnayak along with Prof.Rajita Kulkarni, President of SSU was also present during the moment.
Through this MoU, the prime focus will be to set up Entrepreneurship Cells (E-Cells) at various institutions under ‘Mo College Abhijan’ to sensitize the entire student community towards self employment. By conducting regular programs, workshops and seminars on start-up development for the students, it will emphasize on the continuous knowledge based exposure towards self-employment. Apart from regular programs, innovative models like TOT (Training of Trainers) would be implemented for selected faculties and student coordinators of E-Cell of Institutes. The MoU will also provide handholding & mentoring support to every budding entrepreneur in the domain of Agriculture and allied fields.
‘’Despite the challenges, self-employment can be a fulfilling career choice. It requires careful planning, perseverance and resilience. We have always looked for the scopes students can inherit to grasp skills and education simultaneously and we are very much optimistic that this MoU can turn into another impetus stepping stone to create larger scale of employments in state,” said Mo College Chairperson.
Keeping an eye to the future of entrepreneurship scope in Odisha, SSU will also organize ‘Startup Yatra’ for young budding entrepreneurs in different districts of Odisha.
Prof.R.N Satpathy and Dr.Barada Prasad Panigrahi from SSU along with Aditya Choudhury from ‘Mo College’, was present during the moment.
