Lady Journalist ‘commits suicide’ in Bhubaneswar

In a shocking incident, a young lady journalist allegedly committed suicide in Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Mashusmita Parida, a journalist of a web channel.

According to reports, the lady journalist had got married four months ago and she was living in a rented house in the Bapuji Nagar area. Locals said that her husband was staying away.

The body of Madhusmita was recovered from a railway line near Bapuji Nagar on Wednesday evening.

On being informed, GRP and Capital police station officials reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.

Though the exact reason behind the death was not ascertained immediately, it was suspected that she committed suicide due a family dispute.

Meanwhile, a video recorded by Madhusmita reportedly before her death is going viral on social media platforms.
