Free UPSC Coaching 2024: SC, OBC Students Apply Now

Online applications have been invited by the Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence, Central University of Odisha, Koraput under the scheme of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.

Under this scheme SC and OBC students will get free UPSC coaching and stipend of Rs 4,000 per month.

Duration of the course: One Year

Total seats for free coaching to SC and OBC students: 100 seats

Eligibility criteria :

1. Students belonging to SCs and OBCs, having total family income of Rs. 8.00 lakh or less per annum from all sources will be eligible for benefits under the Scheme.

 2. Age limit: For SC 21-37 Yrs ; For OBC 21-35 Yrs

3. Nationality: Indian Citizen

4. Income Certificate: Income declaration of self-employed parents/guardian should be in the form of a certificate issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar. Employed parents/guardians are required to obtain income certificate from their employer and submit consolidated certificate from Revenue Officer including any other additional source of income.

5. Students having completed the Graduate level course or studying in the final year of the Graduate course concerned at the time of receiving the benefit under the scheme shall be eligible. Student will be required to declare the marks obtained by him/her in graduation in the application form.

However, students having less than 50% marks in their graduation exam, will not be considered under the scheme.

6. The student will be required to provide a declaration that he/she has not taken benefit more than twice under the Scheme or any other similar coaching scheme run by the Central or State Government.

7. The student should have a valid Aadhaar number and a bank account seeded therewith, allotted to him/her.

Selection Procedure:

Common Entrance Test of 100 marks and will be based on 90 MCQs (one marks each) and 1 essay (English-10 marks).

Date of downloading admit card from 1st Feb 2024

Date of Entrance Test: 11th Feb 2024

Declaration of result of Entrance Test: 16th Feb 2024
