Documentary Film From Odisha “‘Mahanadi’ Receives Award 4th Nadi Utsav

The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) today evening awarded the documentary film on Mahanadi directed by Jubanashwa Mishra amongst four other documentary films with cash awards of Rs 25,000 each. Producer of the film Dr Ashok Kumar Panda received the prestigious Award.

“Mahanadi – the River in the Eye of a Poet” screened as the opening film on 22nd September at 4th Nadi Utsav, IGNCA Delhi

The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), an institution dedicated to art and culture, under the Ministry of Culture has been organizing the ‘Nadi Utsav’ on a grand scale for the last few years.

Filmmakers from almost all the states of India had sent films for the Documentary Film Festival, out of which 12 were selected for screening. “Mahanadi – the River in the Eye of a Poet” was selected as the opening film in this three-day river festival.
