Girl Students’ ‘Private’ Video Filmed At IIT Delhi Washroom

In a shocking incident, a video of Delhi University girl students changing their clothes at a ladies washroom of IIT Delhi has been filmed.

The incident came to fore after the students narrated their ordeal on Instagram.

Following the incident and complaint through social media X, Delhi police has registered a case.

“Today, a complaint was received through “X” (formerly known as Twitter) at Police Station Kishangarh regarding the filming of a video in the women’s washroom of IIT, Delhi by a boy. In this regard, a case under section 354 C IPC was registered at Police Station Kishangarh & accused Akash, 20 a contractual sweeper has been arrested and sent to Judicial Custody,” Delhi police said.

ELANTRE, the fashion society of Bharati College, issued a statement expressing deep disappointment over the fact that despite the incident.

“Today on 6th of October, Our team Elantre went to IIT Delhi to perform in their their fashion show competition.

Few of our members went to change in their washrooms, saw someone filming them through the window shafts and informed their student incharges as soon as they saw the guy running away to which the first response was- ‘Aap washrooms mei change hi kyu kar the the when you’re provided with green rooms,”

ELANTRE, said on Instagram post.

“There were no female guards to keep a check on who’s entering the washrooms.

We were told the issue has been forwarded to the authorities and they are going through the CCTV cameras. About one and a half hour later, We were asked to ‘Stay calm’ until they sort it out then we got to know no actions were taken still and their authorities have no clue about whatever happened and only solution they came up with- ‘Aap apna performance do apne aap ko distract karo institution will solve this issue’,” the post read.
