Tata Steel Kalinganagar observed 77th Independence Day with a lot of fervour on Tuesday inside its plant premises in Kalinganagar of Jajpur district.
Y G S Prasad, Chief, Agglomerates, Tata Steel Kalinganagar hoisted the National Flag in the presence of Mahesh Kumar, Deputy Commandant, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Tata Steel Kalinganagar and senior officials of Tata Steel Kalinganagar & Workers’ Union and member from the community.
On the occasion, Y G S Prasad said, “Let’s salute the Nation on its 77th Independence Day. Let us also salute the martyrs and the leaders who shaped the Nation in the last 76 years with their tireless efforts”.

During the celebration, the dignitaries were spell-bound with the parade and drill showcased by the CISF team. The ceremony concluded with the felicitation of the security and fire safety personnel for their exemplary performance.
On the occasion, Engineering and Projects Team of TSK also organised a Volleyball Tournament for the employees at Plot 2 Housing and the winning teams were felicitated by the dignitaries.
