Bhubaneswar, Jan 3 : The Commissionerate Police of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack has announced a robust lineup of initiatives to ensure exceptional safety and hospitality standards for Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) 2025. The announcement, made at the Commissionerate Conference Hall, highlights five key programs designed to enhance the experience of all delegates.
The centrepiece of the event was the launch of HAPFY (Helpingand Active Police for You), a friendly and approachable mascot representing the values of modern policing. With a warm smile and dressed in the iconic khaki uniform, HAPFY embodies the Commissionerate Police’s commitment to safety, service, and
accessibility. HAPFY aims to enable positive interactions between police and the public, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed and secure.
The city police also launched a dedicated helpline number, 1965. Operated from the Police Master Control Room, this service will provide immediate assistance, ensuring the safety and convenience of all delegates throughout PBD 2025.
This apart, a WhatsApp Chatbot to assist delegates with real-time updates was also launched at the event. , Delegates can reach the chatbot at (+91) 828-070-7346.
Specially trained Tourist Police will be stationed at key tourist destinations across Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. These personnel will provide safety and assistance to visitors, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all delegates during the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2025.
