Odisha Weather Update Today: IMD Issues Yellow, Orange Warnings

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange and yellow warnings several districts today (March 20).

Weather Update:

(Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 20.03.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 21.03.2024)

Orange Warning (Be Prepared):

 Thunderstorm with lightning, and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmphvery likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khordha, Nayagarh, Puri, also heavy rainfall (7cm to 11cm) at one or two places likely over districts ofKhordha, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack and Nayagarh.

Yellow Warning(To be updated):

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
