16 RSP Staff Awarded Under ‘SAIL Shabash’ Scheme

As many as 16 employees of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) were awarded under the newly launched ‘SAIL Shabash’ Scheme for their innovative endeavours at a function recently.

S R Suryawanshi, ED (Works) handed over the awards to 9 Executives and 7 Non-executive employees of RSP in the presence of all CGMs of work area and other senior officers.

It is noteworthy that, Rourkela Steel Plant is the first unit in SAIL to implement this scheme.  

Speaking on the event, Suryawanshi expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the proactive efforts of the Personnel Department in launching the scheme.

He said, “This scheme will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of appreciation, recognizing its potential for long-term development within the organization”. He also commended the efficient and timely distribution of all the gifts received from Salem.

The award winners of the ‘SAIL Shabash’ Scheme are Shekhar Narayan, GM I/C (Design & Shops(Mech.)),Kaushika Suniyani, GM (T&RM), Santosh Kumar Mohalik, AGM (CES), Pramod Kumar Mishra, AGM (SMS II), Kumuda Ranjan Mishra, AGM (Mechanical Shops), Daya Shankar, Senior Manager (SMS II), Damodar Rout, Senior Manager (Mechanical Shops),  Saurav Bhardwaj, Manager (SMS II), Sawmendra Kumar Mohanty, Asst. Manager (Mech. Shops), Manoranjan Dash, JO (SMS II), Srikanta Jena, STO and Seetakanta Patra, MOMT both from Mechanical Shops, Shukru Goud, Sr. Technician (Foundries Shops), Pratap Lakra, Master Technician, (Design), Badri Narayan Biswal, MOMT (Plate Mill), and Prasanta Kumar Dash, Sr. Techncian, (RSE).

During the function, S Badpanda, GM (PL-OD) gave a presentation regarding the scheme and explained in detail the operation of the scheme. It is noteworthy that for the first time the Appreciation letters were generated in online mode through RSP PORTAL, EMPLOYEE ZONE for which C&IT Dept. has developed a module.

The scheme is applicable for all regular employees up to E-7 grade within SAIL.
